Digital X-ray
We use digital x-ray to improve the quality of image and lower the radiation dosage for our patients. We believe in ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) principle. Our digital x-ray produces radiation that is less than 1/1000th of the radiation you would receive if you are flying from Vancouver to Tokyo. This high quality image allows our doctors to diagnose accurately and treat dental diseases in early stage.
3D Scanner
Omnicam is the latest 3D scanner from Sirona. It takes a digital impression of your teeth, which is often much more comfortable than traditional alginate or PVS impression. Because your data will be stored digitally, we can always reference back from our dentists in North Delta if we need to. This technology allows us to provide same day crowns for patients as well as orthodontic treatment using Invisalign or Daemon.
CEREC
CEREC is a CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer aided milling) machine. Once we have a digital impression of your teeth, your doctor will design the crown and fabricated it on the same day. This technology accommodates busy lifestyles without compromising oral health. Crowns fabricated digitally is extremely accurate, and because the doctor has the full control of the design, your crowns will be as ideal as possible.
Laser Dentistry
Laser dentistry is a form of dentistry used by our dentists in North Delta, which utilizes a high-energy beam to complete both hard tissue and soft tissue treatments, including oral health and cosmetic dentistry procedures. It has proven to be less invasive, take less time to perform, be more precise, yield less pain and recuperation time, and can negate the use of stitches or anesthesia when compared to traditional dentistry.
Microscope
Leica M320 microscope has up to X40 magnification when most dental loupes only provide magnification of X2.5 to X4.5. Higher magnification is extremely valuable to provide high quality care. This allows doctors to detect caries at earlier stage, identify cracks, treat tooth with complicated root canal anatomy, and accurately evaluate fit of crown and bridge work.
