COVID-19 was confirmed as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), and we have seen a sweeping set of societal and cultural changes that directly impact our personal and professional worlds.
At Nordel Crossing Dental Centre, our top priority is to continue to provide excellent dental services to our patients and community. In the past few days we have seen strong guidance from the government and health leaders in many regions of the world to further prevent potential exposure and spread of the coronavirus. Here in British Columbia our Provincial Health Officer (PHO) announced new directives and measures to help protect our communities.
- BC residents should avoid all non-essential international travel, including the USA.
- Anyone who travels outside of Canada is being asked to stay away from work for 14 days upon return.
- Event organizers should cancel/ postpone any gathering larger than 250 people.
At Nordel Crossing Dental Centre, we are strictly abiding by CDSBC’s latest Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines. We are constantly monitoring any update from CDSBC (College of Dental Surgeon in BC) regarding COVID-19. In addition to the guidelines recommended by the college, our staffs and doctors will be wearing masks at all time to ensure we continue to operate in safety.
In addition, for the overall safety of ALL our staff and ALL our patients, we have implemented a ZERO cold/ flu like symptom policy at this time. If you have any cold/ flu like symptoms, please call our office to rebook your scheduled appointment until you are feeling well and are non symptomatic.
Our supporting clinical and administrative staff will be working regular office hours. Please feel free to call the office to discuss your upcoming appointments and any concerns with us.
Thank you for your understanding during this time. We value your patronage and look forward to minimal disruption with your dental services and needs. We look forward to hearing back from you soon.
